WELCOME TO ALL BRETHEREN

In February 2024 we had an exceptional meeting where we had a quadrupal initiation. Bro's Ren Ito, Daniel Brady,Luis Claudio Rodrigues Rocha, and Richard Gabrial Cuzic were initiated together. It was a very interesting ceremony and a first for the lodge. Our director of ceremonies Trevor organised it all with a lot of consultation with MetGL. The assistant MetGM WBro Michael Todd PSGD was in attendance to see the ceremony. We hope they have an enjoyable future in the lodge and masonry in general.

The Worshipful Master for 2023/2024 is W.Bro Doug Leasey. As he is a past master the installation ceremony will be a short one so we took the opportunity to pass Bro Aurelian to the second degree.

A general purposes meeting TBC will take place at TBC, The minutes will be posted on the GP page.

Items under discussion: Installation meeting, Officers, Welfare and lodge work for the ensuing year, the master’s charity, and any other business.

Grand Lodge are recommending that we ask all our brethren if they have friends, family, neighbours, work mates, anyone they can think of who might be of interest or interested in joining freemasonry, so we urge you all to keep your eyes, ears and mind open on this subject.

SO WHAT HAVE YOU MISSED, WHATS HAPPENING.

WM W.Bro Doug Leasey was installed as Worshipful master for the ensuing year 2024/25. The WM then appointed all officers present in their positions for the year.

After the meeting had finished and the lodge was closed we all resumed in the festive board where we enjoyed a very fine carvery.

It would be great to see you all if you can attend, the aim now is to get the lodge to our 150th year.

Please think about getting new members, work mates, friends or family members will be welcome.

OTHER NEWS:

WB Bob Andrews Large has had a recurring health problem. He is now doing well and we hope to see him soon.
